Sunrise over Accidental Zoo

Gorgeous start to the day (seems ages ago now!) but a lovely red sky....folklore has it this a bad omen and will bring bad weather but we had a great day....if a little chilly!
The blip is the sunrise over the Accidental Zoo pond and the ducks and chickens are already up and about.
There are no zoo open days over the winter so No1 son is busy changing fences and general husbandry to make ready for next season. It is a very full life for them and thank goodness for powerful head torches as its getting very dark, very early at the moment.
Looking forward to Winter Solstice around 22 December when the evenings start to get a little lighter.
