Canopy Conundrum

This image was taken after dark in our local park. It had been such a dull and grey day that I had not felt any encouragement to get out to take an image any earlier. However, just after dark the skies cleared slightly and I ventured out to try to get an image. It felt strangely calm as the traffic had stopped, the sky was dark blue rather than black, the air was completely still and I didn't see another soul. I tried taking several shots of the trees silhouetted against the dark blue sky but none seemed to work. I then changed my position by crouching below the largest tree in the park and took a shot upwards into the canopy and this is the result.
