December arrives

A bright sunny day, in much contrast to yesterday's grey damp murk.  A particularly busy few days at work.  Also I've been spending time reflecting on the year and the future.  Thinking about the people who have been so good to us during the last 12 months and in the past.  Reminding myself of and revisiting plans which seem to go fuzzy in the mix of day to day activities.  Important not to let things get out of focus for too long.

The many details of these delicate looking yet strong branches caught my eye as they reflected in the village stream.  Thank goodness for my daily walks and the loveliness in ordinary things all around.
