Little Wizard

Upon accepting an invitation to see a frozen water balloon, I was ushered out the back door into 19 degree air, cautioned not to slip on the icy ground, and led to a window well containing a mystical-looking orb. Every day is an adventure. I wonder what tomorrow will bring? Maybe I should ask the orb?
