My travel buddies

Here we all are at an overlook at the Chincua Butterfly Sanctuary at 11,000 feet. We took horses to the area and then walked a short distance to the monarchs. They were just beginning to come alive by the warming sun amidst the dense forest. We sat for a couple hours taking in the great spectacle. It is truly one of the universes great mysteries; these beautiful mystical creatures that defy all odds to arrive here each year after traveling thousands of miles heading to a place they have never been. Awe struck!
