Day 254 It's December!

Now that we have reached December, we feel that we can officially start to do Christmassy things, two of which feature here.  My main shot is of Violet with her chocolate from drawer number one of the Advent calendar and in Extras is Tinsel (the elf on the shelf that lives at our house) reading a couple of Violet's Christmas themed books.  I'm sure that he won't be so well behaved every day!
In other news:  today is the last of the current lockdown in England.  Tomorrow we return to the tiers system despite a sizeable rebellion by a number of Tory MPs and most Labour MPs abstaining from voting.
Very sadly Debenhams is going to close after 242 years of trading and 12, 000 jobs will be lost.  We also learned that Arcadia is to go into administration too.
