Spectacular savings!

I had my eyes tested the other day, Even had an Optical Coherence Tomography scan. How posh is that?

Needed new varifocal lenses as my prescription had changed.

I decided to save a few quid by telling them to put the new lenses in my old frames.

To cut a long story short the computer said it was 40 quid cheaper to buy new identical frames rather than use the old ones.

It was what I believe the common people refer to as a "No-Brainer". It would be greener to keep  the old frames but it would cost me more, there would be no guarantee if the frames broke while they were putting in the new lens, and I would be without specs for ten days.

How mad is that.?

Old and new specs are shown in the Blip photo
