Oh yes. That’s right! Got to get some value for money after all. We wanted a tall but thin number, but it appears nature does not make them in that shape.

We essentially can’t dry washing now though because our tree and work-from-home furniture is in the way. Oh well! Swings and roundabouts. I highly doubt this will be the last Xmas tree blip because it’s a dark month and you’ll definitely be needing at least one colour shot.

We also avoided the traditional fall out over the tree putting up. Last year it wouldn’t go straight and tensions rose. This year calm calm calm however. A good omen for things to come?
