Sliced orange

A longer than intended interval since my last blip.  Work has been a bit overwhelming this last fortnight and I haven't had much time or energy to pick up my camera.  However I'm now off for 8 days so no excuses!!

It was dry & bright today and feeling the need to to blow some cobwebs away I had a lovely run, taking a different route through some local woods and back over the fields to the village.  It was so refreshing seeing the valley from a different perspective and the hill half way through was a good challenge!  

This afternoon I decided to dry out some oranges and clementines in preparation for making some spiced orange garlands to decorate around the house.  Every year I intend to make them & run out of time, so this year I thought I would be organised and give them a go.  This is a blip of the sliced oranges before they went into the oven to dry out.
