Gingerbread gentlemen and gentlewomen

I made gingerbread people today which was really easy. I'm surprised because I made a beautiful coffee cake yesterday which was sensational. But today's bake was gingerbread people and I'm pretty pleased with how they looked! I had help from my PA Alison. I've really enjoyed getting cheffy in the kitchen!
I was also meant to go racerunning on the track. This would have been extra special because it would be the first time after the second lockdown . Unfortunately I stubbed my toe really bad today and that has temporarily stopped me from being able to walk properly.
In other news, I made a naughty little espresso with Terry's chocolate orange in! Yum
