The joy of a new carpet.

Carpet fitters came and did a good job. Clearing up and starting to re-establish the room took up a fair bit of the day. Tomorrow’s another day. A friend who’s a joiner came in the evening to shorten the doors. We endeavoured to work in a covid19 safe way.

MHRA approval for one of the coronavirus vaccines confirmed today, the 254th day of lockdown restrictions. That’s good news. It dominated the First Minister’s daily briefing; she advised of the possibility of first inoculations next week - lots of interdependencies in the wider programme to come, but definitely a welcome step.
