Early morning tracks

My birding partner was not feeling well so I spent some time alone in the edge of the park early this morning. Not many birds, but I enjoyed puzzling out the fresh tracks of rabbits, squirrels, coyotes and mice. Most exciting wax smelling the scent mark of a predator — the musky odour recently left as a message.
