Trees that have been periodically cut down have been made into seats and placed in various spots in the park. I was more interested in the end of this one, attracted by the different colours and textures. Not sure whether some little body has been chewing it or just that it has slowly crumbled.

Cold and grey here, won't be venturing too far from home.
