Canal walk

It’s been quite a grey day today but we did get out for a shortish walk today along the canal at Spike Island again. It was very still with no wind but drizzled on and off so we were not out for very long. No new birds to report today, so still 3 more to go for my 100. 

Early this morning I did a little bit of repotting of my basil and pelargonium cuttings and then potted up some of the early planted seedlings. They seem to be still enjoying the last of the relative warmth we have. The frost and cold weather is due to kick in next week big time I think.  We have only had one light frost so far.
