A very wet and grey day

Today we ventured out to Tottenham Court Road. We would only walk there and not use public transport.

It started off with light rain and then got steadily worse.

Given the weather and the fact we stuck to the back routes we saw very few people throughout our journey. Far less people about than when we were in Lockdown.

Numbers of new cases continue to decrease along with deaths per day. Let’s hope the trend continues on its downward trajectory. If only they had done this short break earlier.

My Blip is of the courtyard in Somerset Place on Waterloo Bridge. In normal times there would have been an ice rink in place for Xmas here. Today it was just hospitality bubbles and no people.
