Pigeons

A large flock of pigeons lives in the village and flies over our house every day in the winter. In the spring, they couple of up and disappear for a few weeks to raise their kids before reappearing. Some venture on our terrace sometimes but the cats keep a watchful eye on them so they prefer to settle on the neighbouring terraces or roofs.

I went to the dentist today and as I sat on the chair while a filling was being repaired (ouch) I was admiring the patterns on the light which I thought would have made a perfect Abstract Thursday subject. I however forgot to take the picture, being too happy to leave quickly after the end of my torture session!
