Christmas memories

We were talking today about when we might put our Christmas decorations up. A few weeks ago we actually thought we mightn't bother this year but then we decided we wouldn't let Covid take that away from us as well.

Some of our favourite Christmas decorations come from Europe. When we were in Bruges in Belgium in 2011 we went to an absolutely magical Christmas shop. We were very tempted to buy the shop out. I went looking at our photos today to see exactly when that was and, lo and behold, it was exactly 9 years ago today - 4 December 2011. Any time we have been back to Europe since then we always go and find, where we can, a shop belonging to the same company.
