My 47 cm Reflecting Telescope
Quiet a number of comments asked about what lens i used to to blip the Moon, well I use my home made telescope and mount the camera in place of the eyepiece, all the optic's, telescope mounting are made by hand. The images are formed by mirrors, the large mirror is 18.5 inch or 47 cm in dia,and as a focal length of 90 inch or 2256 mm, working at f5, by changing the secondary mirror so as to make the telescope now into a Cassegrain reflector having a new focal length of 360 inch or 9144 mm working at f 19, then if you add a x2 teleconvertor double the power. I hope this helps.
