Melting snow

Before rising temperatures made the snow totally disappear I snatched these photos of the flowers in the tubs (nasturtiums, fuschias and pansies) that have survived miraculously until now. Top right is a lovely little apple tree that produced an amazing crop that I cooked and froze. I'll be enjoying stewed apples well into the spring.. We call this Tipsy's plot as our lovely cat is buried here with the memorial plaque marking the spot.
