Light Trails

Watching the TV weather forecast just after 7 this morning the animation showed rain appearing here around 8 a.m. - so, given that wintry showers were forecast, I togged up and went out for my walk. I stopped to take some photos of the A1(M) from Bowcliffe Bridge and at 7:45 there was just some light developing in the sky. This looking north towards Wetherby. I have lifted the shadows slightly so that the trees have some details and are not just black blocks.

Almost exactly at 8 o’clock the rain began and did indeed have the odd snowflake in it. I got home around 8:45 - slightly damp around the edges. Don’t think there is any danger of us being able to make a snowman today though.
