British Camp

So K1 and I took a walk on British Camp; the view from the top - it was cold and draughty up there today - over the surrounding plains is superb. We could see the snow on the distant Welsh hills beckoning, but the Malvern Hills Hotel was closer so we went there to warm up and fill up instead. My last visit here was on a warm July afternoon so the contrast today couldn't have been more marked, with the summer green cloak replaced with the winter browns of bracken. Even in black and white the landscape looked colder to me, but maybe that's influenced by the image triggering the memory of the day.
