An Invasion of Deer (and a Giraffe!)

Blippers that have been with me for a while will know the significance of the Giraffe being included amongst the Deer/Reindeer.
Needless to say, Jonty loves lying on the sheepskin. Problem is that unless his face is turned in, towards the room, we can't see him HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (Shouldn't laugh at my own jokes!).
We have cut back a little on the decorations. We usually have green fir (artificial) swags up the stair banister, across the fireplace, above the double doorway between the living room and something complicated around the two lights in the living room. The fir swags have been replaced by bought, ready made, silver branches with lights attached. Much easier to put into place. 
I think we are starting to realise it's an awful lot of tiring work to do now we are getting older. As it is we have spent two days doing it (not continuous 48 hours of course!).
