Demolished!

Took a quick walk in between rain showers through the park behind our house and discovered to my great surprise, the in-progress demolition of the neighborhood skate park.  I know a new skate park is planned but construction hasn't even started yet, so the demolition seems a bit untimely.

I was sad to see this as I loved hanging around there and taking pix of the many skaters - kids and not-so-kids alike -- who congregated there in the afternoons.
