Rhododendron

I took a patient to the clinic this morning and whilst I waited for him I had a lovely walk round the park next door. There is a statue in  the park of Sir Francis Sharp Powell and notice the gleaming bit of his shoe. it seems as people pass the statue they rub the toe for luck! I didn't!!! As I walked by the lake I spotted this rhododendron flower and another bud. What a strange year for flowers.
I went food shopping early afternoon and as I was in the shop it started to sleet. It didn't last long but it is very cold!
