Through the rain

After a night plagued with nightmares, woke in a gloomy mood this morning. Difficult to concentrate, so abandoned the 'to do' list and, instead, sorted through a chest of drawers, something I've been meaning to do for a while, and quite therapeutic. Several items of clothing now in a bag waiting to go to the charity shop, and some very ancient T-shirts cut in to pieces for MrM to use as rags in the workshop. Later, some planning for the DIY we hope to complete before the new year.

A cheerful but damp delivery man brought our groceries mid-afternoon. No snow here, but it started raining last night and has continued for most of the day, torrential and horizontal in the wind at times. Luckily it had eased off a little as he unloaded the shopping, but there were some fairly soggy items all the same! The Blip was taken just after 3.00pm - it didn't ever seem to get properly light before it started getting dark, if that makes sense! Raindrops on the window, but the charity shop opposite looks inviting anyway.

Looking forward to a film and a glass or two of red this evening.
