Nice to snatch a moment this evening to catch up with this vinyl offering from 1992, Tommy Smith’s ‘Paris’. Tommy has been without doubt Scotland’s coolest jazzer for three decades, and our greatest international jazz ambassador in that time, no mean feat when you consider the many other very fine jazz musicians in the country (including a generation taught by Tommy at the Conservatoire)
