Commute home

Into the office for a late shift.
I started a task I’d been putting off and was making good progress until I had a message from my sister telling me mam was in hospital after a BP reading of 250.

Mam had a stroke 10 years ago following a BP spike.
Just so worrying and upsetting to think of her there all alone. She is already so frightened of Covid 19.
She has taken all safe options all year so to be at the same hospital her sister works at and who is currently Covid positive will be really scaring her.
I’m home from work now and waiting up for an update from my sister.
