Torrent

I have spent all day getting soaking wet due to the extreme weather conditions we have had today.
This morning was a trip to Saughton park for volunteer gardening-we weren't able to garden so walked round the park instead.  Next was a trip to the allotment, which we cycled to with friends.  It was a fated trip and the rain lashed down as soon as we set off.  The top end of the allotment site was under water!  Both trip took us alongside the Waters of Leith River which as you can see is in complete spate at present.  I wonder if it will go up higher over night?
