Getting festive

A gentle day at home with a few dog walks thrown in.  I've been trying to make the house more festive.  We've now got some lights up and a posy for the front door is partly arranged.  The penstemon which have bloomed in the garden all summer are still in flower. I thought their deep purple petals fitted well with the festive colour palette so brought some into the house and made a little arrangement with them.  Cranberry and coconut rock cakes have also been made.  My massage coursework however hasn't made much progress - I find it hard to make myself sit down at a desk when I have been there for the previous five days.  I need to be more disciplined!

Andy has been out playing golf with our neighbour.  He has another new grip he is trying. Its been 4 degrees and raining for much of the day and he has just called to say they are on their way off the course in the dark - rather him than me!
