In Dulci Jubilo

Today would normally be the pre Christmas concert given by Felicitas, a local choir of 20 wonderful singers. It is traditionally held at Waltham Abbey but not this year.

This time the choir staged a distanced concert rehearsal with a few of the regular audience invited along. So this morning we went three doors down to the arts and craftsy United Free church and enjoyed an hour of beautiful music with the organ giving it a fine accompaniment. 

 It was conducted like a proper rehearsal with some restarts where Simon Winters, the maestro, spotted mistakes. So fab to hear some live singing and such a treat for the ears. Balm for the soul.
