Golden Breath

This horse posed for me as we left the village on our walk this afternoon.  The sun was low, and the scene was backlit, but the camera managed to cope with the resulting contrast.  If I had remembered to fit the lens hood I might have avoided the little bit of flare in the lower right quarter.

At RobinDown's suggestion I shall start my Desert Island Discs selection (which might go to more than eight tracks :-); my first is from my first term at boarding school in Somerset, Downside Abbey, a track from Disrael Gears which permeated the school corridors for several months.
