Skies on fire

Thank you for comments yesterday. I carefully brought the grasshopper inside and put is onto a red rug with a blue chair in the background. Grasshopper was just as carefully returned to a marjoram bush :-)

Sorry I haven't commented today. I'm firmly in pre-surgery mode working my way through a long 'to do' list. I think I'm winning.

Late in the day the sun dropped below the nor' west arch of cloud. We were left with a brilliant sky. I played with the levels but didn't do much to the image.

I hope to get some comments in tomorrow but it's my last day at work for 6 weeks so apologies in advance if I'm silent.
