Sinterklaas, but different...

It's Sinterklaas in the Netherlands.
A bit different this year, but then again, what's not different this year..

We were supposed to have my parents over for a visit (and a present) but yesterday we kind of had some disturbing COVID-news.
It turned out that a classmate of Bas and a classmate of Daan tested positive. Therefore the whole classes were sent home as soon as that news came through.

Tests for the both (next Monday have been planned already). So, despite not having any signs of COVID ourselves, we're in a sort of quarantaine now until we know the testresults.

That meant we cancelled the visit of my parents of course. They're now at my sisters' place. Joke brought us this wonderful self made cake this afternoon. 
I'm looking forward to having a piece! We'll be celebrating Sinterklaas with the four of us. No presents, well.... of course we have a few surprises for Bas and Daan!
