If you look closely on either side of the root you will see a cable. Severed.

This is the feed to the house for our TV, broadband and WiFi and landline.

When gardening I did not expect the cable to be 5cm or less below the surface. And not protected. It’s been there for some 25 years and somehow survived till now.

So no I am relying on my mobile data and personal hotspot. The first booking I could get was 22 December. It will be a long wait!
