Such a rainy, dark, cold morning. However, we were up early and on our way to town.

Matt went for his first haircut since September (weird to think how much has happened in that time!) and I posted a parcel. We met up again when he was done and smashed our Christmas shopping. The weather definitely worked in our favour - town was so much quieter and less hellish than we had expected!

Stopped for a chat with Stace before heading home. We decorated our little Christmas tree (it arrived yesterday), and did a few jobs before settling down with bowls of soup and a Christmas movie.

I managed to not actually fall asleep, and afterwards got up and made my first annual batch of fudge.
