Advent treat

Rather than buying the kids advent calendars we decided last year to buy one with pockets that we can fill ourselves. The idea being that it doesn't have to have chocolate or sweets in it every day...it invariably does.

Being the weekend they both got a 'big' treat today.

The afternoon was then filled with getting haircuts and trying to get a 12 year old to look for Christmas presents and think about what other people might like, rather than stare into space, bored. I thought we should make a start before our traditional last day of term Christmas outing.
