The Skern
A beautiful, frosty morning, sun shining, and virtually no wind. Sue came over to pick me up, and we drove over to Northam Burrows. Our first stop was to look over the Pebble Ridge at the receding tide. There one or two brave people having a swim, and no wetsuit!! Brr!!
Not being inspired to stay that side of the Burrows we headed around to the Appledore side to view the Skern, a saltmarsh area of mud flat. The main reason for going out was for me to get to know the workings of my new XF10x24mm wide angle lens. So far so good, it certainly takes a bit of thinking about settings and viewpoints. We will have to return soon with longer lens as there flats were busy with birds and ducks.
Thank you for popping in and for your comments and rewards as always. I am still playing catch up!!! :-)
