An Unusual Find

Came upon what appeared to be a double roofed playhouse on short stilts, but which on closer examination turned out to be a structure containing many nesting boxes, fronted by wire netting.

Much time and effort had gone into making the 'nests' with a variety of size and shape. Materials too, had been incredibly well thought out, and judging by the empty space in one of the boxes, it looked as if some material had been extracted for use elsewhere! Perhaps the close proximity to the path, and the relative closeness to the ground make it less attractive to prospective guests.

You ornithologists out there may be familiar with this sort of structure, but I have discovered something new today......

I shall keep a look out and see if I see any signs of activity, and perhaps a future blip.
