Sunday shopping

After a lazy morning and a short walk to the frosty allotment Sandy and I spent a leisurely afternoon Christmas shopping in Dieulefit:  artisanal chocolate from the Chocolaterie, local tapenade and paté, lavender moisturizer, oyas from a young potter, ... will all make their way to England tomorrow. I also got this year’s prix Goncourt novel signed by the author Hervé le Tellier for mum from the great little bookshop (he lives locally). I pointed to a few things I would like for Sandy to surprise me...  and on the way back we bought these cakes to eat with a cup of tea in front of the fire. All within 300 m from the house!
