Bleak but beautiful

Spent the morning cleaning and disinfecting all the bird feeders and water bowls as there are cases of bird flu in the country. As if there aren’t enough problems around. In the afternoon I went for a walk with a friend and we were hoping to stay around to see the lights in the trees come on but it was too cold to linger for long. Came home to find four foxes waiting for their dinner. Took a quick picture (extra) but too dark to see much.
