Feeding Frenzy

We’ve had a busy and very productive day. D got the trees in and we moved the furniture around so it could go into its usual corner. While the trees were settling we cleaned out the chickens which were filthy. D scraped all the muck out from under their feeder which seemed to attract them to it and they scrambled all over each other to get to the food. On the left hand side you can see one chicken actually sitting on top of another one while they both ate.
After lunch poppy helped me decorate the tree. We had a lovely time getting all the decorations out and listening to Christmas music. I need to get some more hooks for the decorations before I can do the second tree.
