Zwara

It's amazing what the inclement weather and opening the shops can do to give you a bit of peace. 

As I sat underneath the statue of Perseus looking out across the lake at Trentham Gardens the only other person in my view was a single rower. Perfect!

The sky had been quite dramatic all the way around the lake but I chose this image for today. This is one of the wire fairies on display around the estate. This one is called Zwara. They are a real sculptural feature to the site. I'm hoping to photograph them at night in a couple of weeks as they are being lit up for a night time trail.
