Starlings with cables, streetlight & turbines

Rather an odd mix, but this was what I passed on the way down to Nea Stira (a permitted shopping plus exercise trip). This huge flock of starlings has been wafting about the general area for the past few weeks. They are so many that when they fly overhead their wings beating sound almost like the roar of a violent storm. In this case I stopped the car as the road ahead was so covered with them that it was completely black. Apparently they aren't migrating - just moving around.
