Frozen high tide

I was a good girl and went and did some primary research for my college project. This is also known as walking the dog down the beach, taking photos, and doing some sketches. It was very cold today, even with the sun out. This didn't stop Gonzo wanting to play fetch in the sea. Strange dog.
Parts of the beach was frozen with water still blobbing through underneath. Very cool. The blip is of the frozen remains of the high tide water. It must have frozen last night and was possibly due to it meeting the freshwater run-off from the beach itself. It had frozen in thin layers stacked on top of itself, and looked rather cool.
The upside is I've got lots of ideas now for my next project and need to put pen/chalk/paint/glue to paper and create some more artwork.
Had a quiet afternoon catching up with my friend and then catching up with some website stuff while Thom watched He-Man from the 80's. We'd watched a remake the other day from 2002, but it doesn't beat the original one.
Trying to decide whether to warp up the loom again tonight, or just do some knitting.
