Blanket coverage

Two flaming braziers and nice woolly blankets kept us warm enough to sit outside for a few hours with friends Eileen and David.  We had home made soup, roasted sausages and toasted marshmallows.  While we enjoyed the craic, the pathway from the terrace to the house iced up without us even noticing. Unfortunately,  David went a**e over elbow on the slippery stuff and twisted his ankle.  He is a tall lad and it was a long way down.  Irish coffees helped him overcome his shock and codeine helped with his pain.  So nice to catch up and have a good laugh at life.
