This is the 19 pence stamp that matches the 14p stamp from earlier this week. I think they were issued before the modern practice of putting 1st and 2nd on the main stamps.

It poured with rain almost all day, though it was dry enough to go and get a few things from the supermarket in the afternoon, and get home without getting drenched - though we did get a little wet.

In the evening we watched the most bonker episode of Cherif so far, complete with the car from "Starsky and Hutch", and Huggy Bear himself.. Interestingly Wikipedia says that the French version was dubbed quite differently from the original script and the title sequence music was completely different, so the French have a very different view of the series to those who saw it in English... A bit like the English version of the Magic Roundabout bing rather different from the French original...
