It’s Christmas

We went out for one of our rare meals out given the US seems to have given up taking Covid seriously but also got to go for a walk in Grapevine’s Main Street where they were about to do a parade for 2 hours. The walk made it feel like Christmas as there were decorations and lights everywhere. We shared a 22oz Bone in rib eye for dinner - the restaurant had plenty of space to keep us well distances from anyone else and it was great to get out and enjoy some cool fresh air. And onward we go - trusting we will stay safe. At least we can look forward to some political normality even if life is very strange in other ways right now.
