Cheltenham Minster - AKA St Mary's
Well thanks to the power of wikipedia, I now know that St Mary's church has become Cheltenham Minster.
Now, the only Minster I've seen before is York minster and quite frankly (sorry Cheltenham), this is not a patch on York Minster.
It is however "the only surviving medieval building in Cheltenham. It has been in continuous use for 850 years"
Sadly though it is surrounded by shopping streets, and can only be reached by some little alleyways - so I'm not sure how many people even know it is there.
I'm now feeling inspired to swing by York Minster next time I'm up there and get a snap of it (or perhaps when I pay for membership I might backblip one I already have)
