2020 Friday — Pedicures

Mr. Fun has never had a pedicure. He was whining that his toenails really needed trimming and I told him he needed to go get a pedicure.

He said he’d go if I would go with him. Good grief! So I went with him. So now my piggies are painted and his piggies are all trimmed, filed, and much more presentable.

I rarely get a pedicure, so it had been several years since I had been in a nail salon. Just sitting in that chair while it massaged my back was worth the price of admission.

Later that day, our friend Dorothy took us out to dinner on the open air, outdoor patio at Rodrigo’s Restaurant to celebrate my birthday several weeks late. On-time, late, it doesn’t matter to me. The food was delicious and the sound of other human voices on the patio was comforting. I miss people. Where we live, Covid is NOT on the rampage; it is in Los Angeles, but that’s a long way from where we live.

That was our first Friday in December.
