The brightest thing we saw all day?

Other than Christmas lights. Given that the weather continues dark and drear we decided to give ourselves a little treat and go for a walk at Bignalls Wood. Which is where I saw this sunshiney rock in the fork of a tree. Kudos to the one who put it there.

Afterwards we went to get a takeaway at the Peach House Restaurant in Staunton Harold Garden Centre. But it was just a takeaway. All the seating outside had been sealed off as we are in Tier 3 of Covid restrictions.

We sat in the car. I had a cheese and tomato toasted gluten free panini while Len had cake. Latte for a drink.

Better than nowt. The extra shows one of the few hints of sun that we saw.
